Photo Consent
I consent to having my child's photo taken while participating in Gnary Niblets. These photos may be used on our website and social media accounts.
Instruction Consent
I understand that during instruction and practicing the leaders may need to help my child position correctly on their bike. This may include helping my child get on and off a bike, holding the bike or supporting my child while on a bike within the group setting. All Gnarly Niblet leaders will seek permission from your child prior to helping with any positioning on the bike.
Child Assessment
My child is new to mountain biking and still learning the basics like starting, stopping, and balancing on varied terrain. They have little to no experience biking on a trail.
My child has done some mountain biking but are still learning the basics like starting, stopping, and balancing on varied terrain. They have some experience on trails.
My child can ride independently on all Taber green and some blue trails. They are comfortable with moderate climbs and descents, can shift gears, and handle small obstacles like roots or rocks.
My child has good technical skills and rides Taber blue and some black trails with confidence. They enjoy challenges such as steep descents, technical climbs, and features like small drops or berms.
Please rate your child with what kind of trails they might be comfortable on. This will help us with categorization of the kids into groups.
